Last night was Beatles night for American Idol, a tough challenge for all of Season 7’s top twelve. I am going with my buddies over at dialidol, their predictions are hardly ever wrong. By the looks of it Syesha Mercado received the least amount of votes.
Syesha Mercado is a 21-year-old gorgeous girl from Sarasota Florida. She is the daughter of a Motown back up singer, so singing comes naturally to her. She also enjoys theatre and starred in high school productions of Pippin, Seussical: The Musical and As You Like It. You may also know Syesha from the short-lived ABC reality series The One: Making a Music Star.
Syesha Mercado lists her musical influences as Whitney Houston, Etta James and Lauryn Hill. Last night for the first performance of American Idol Season 7’s top twelve, she sang “Got to Get You Into My Life.” The judges told her she did ok, but she seemed nervous. That may be what is sending the singer home tonight.
