Rumors are flying that Jamie Spears is now engaged to her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge. People magazine has confirmed this to be true! The Zoey 101 star is said to be very excited and is running around Louisiana showing off her engagement ring.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” a ‘close family source’ tells People. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

Although she is only 16, the couple is very excited to be engaged as they welcome their first child into the world. No word yet on if the two will wed before the baby or not. The baby is due this summer.

I don’t think they need to get married right away, let them figure out life with a baby first! I hope things work out for them and they live a less dramatic life that the other Spears sister.
