Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has just inked a multi-year deal with cosmetics giant Avon to be the face of their new men’s fragrance.

Avon is hoping that the fragrance will be ready to launch in November, and a global launch is expected next year. According to Womens Wear Daily, tee deal is reportedly worth a cool $5 million for three years.
Dempsey’s wife Jillian, who is a make-up artist, has been Avon’s global creative color director since 2006.
Avon CEO Andrea Jung said:
“We are thrilled to partner with Patrick Dempsey—an incredibly accomplished actor who has achieved such broad appeal because of his genuine authenticity, charisma and style. We’re extremely impressed with both his on and off screen accomplishments, and have a shared commitment to giving back to communities in ways both big and small.”
Patrick was recently in Maine for the opening of The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing Medical Center. His mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1997, treated a second and third time, and is now cancer free.
