Jennifer Barretta, one of the top 9-ball players in the world, and this is no fluke either. Jennifer allots most of her time to practicing with her billiards coach, and that’s the reason she recently became “Player of the Year.”
As far as a biography, here’s what we know about Jennifer Barretta.
Jennifer Barretta was born October 26 in Norristown, PA.
Her Nickname is 9 mm Barretta.
Before Jennifer started her extraordinary billiard career she claimed the title of “Ms. Philadelphia” in a fitness competition.
Jennifer claims that as a young girl she was “kind of a geeky tomboy who also liked to read, and of course boys!” Now she can read about herself in the Playboy, and FHM, two magazines she previously posed for.
Her sponsors include McDermott Cue, Olhausen Billiards, CFR Productions, Amsterdam Billiard Club, King Cues, and Seybert’s Billiards.
Jennifer Barretta turned WPBA pro at the age of 29. She went pro with the WBPA at the October Canadian Classic in 2003. Her choice drill is long and straight in draw shots.
Barretta will be starring in the upcoming film “Release 9 Ball.” When the Billiards phenomenon was asked who she thought should play her in a film about her own life, she replied Reese Witherspoon; although she didn’t think they were anything alike.
