Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester is making the crossover from actress to recording artist. For her first official debut she teamed up with Cobra Starship and created the single “Good Girls Go Bad” of which many are already proclaiming to be the summer anthem of 2009.
“Good Girls Go Bad” was co-written by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. The reality show judge jammed with Gabe Saporta and Leighton Meester in a Los Angeles studio on Thursday making a remix of the song.
Leighton, who is currently recording her debut album, will appear at 102.7 KIIS-FM’s annual summer concert Wango Tango Saturday. You can listen to (I make) Good Girls Go Bad in the video posted below, or check it out at Ryan Seacrest’s website here. Lyrics can be found below as soon as we get them!
