I didn’t see this coming! Singer Janet Jackson is working on her own reality series with MTV! Check out photos and video below.
Already on her tenth album, “Discipline”, and ready to tour Janet Jackson is adding more to her plate! The singer who seemed to be flying under the radar for a while has returned and will premiere in her own reality series. The show, still untitled, has been picked up by MTV with Jackson as executive producer and host.
“It’s really about finding who’s the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. And we’ll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn’t typically find it from”, Executive producer Dave Broome says of the series.
The reality series will hit the streets in search of hidden talent with Jackson working as their mentor. Who better to learn from than the superstar that has dabbled in film, tv and maintained a successful career in the music industry since the late 60’s. No definite word on what the prize will be but rumor has it that Jackson will have the winner perform on her upcoming tour!
