Survivor Tocantins season finale aired tonight and the 2009 live reunion show revealed JT, James Thomas Jr., to be the winner! Read a biography on JT and see photos and video here.
Tonight was the CBS 2009 finale of Survivor Tocantins. It was a final show down between JT, aka James Thomas Jr., and Stephen Fishbach. The two were allies from day two so it was not that huge of a shocker that they were the ones to fight it out for the jury’s votes in the end. JT prevailed, with his good guy persona, taking in a large portion of the votes, and winning CBS’s 18th season of Survivor.
James “JT” Thomas Jr. is a 24-year-old cattle manager from Samson, Alabama. He was one of the cast members of CBS’s Survivor Tocantins and the winner of the million-dollar prize. He also won the Sprint player of the season, winning an extra $100,000!
Back in Alabama, “JT” Thomas Jr. operates a registered Angus Cattle Ranch. He is a southern charmer, but gets fired up when people insult his intelligence and says “I’m not a dumb hillbilly, so don’t think it!” JT is the first person to graduate from college in his family, so there is no denying he is a smart cookie. He attended Troy University and earned a Bachelors Degree in business administration.
True to his southern roots, JT is a family man who values his relationships and proved that by taking his ally, Stephen, to the end. For all you single ladies out there, JT is single and ready to mingle!
Oh, and just for kicks - it turns out Coach took a polygraph test and he was kidnapped by natives along the Amazon!

‘Oh, and just for kicks - it turns out Coach took a polygraph test and he was kidnapped by natives along the Amazon!’
Pathalogical liars always pass lie detector tests.
The poor man belives all the lies he tells. Hopefully he gets some help.

OK, I believe it. But you know,if the man wants to save face, that’s cool too. It’s over for us fans, and I do say I enjoyed everyone in the game, including the amazing Coach!

About time a “Real Survivor” won. J.T. was the best since Big Tom Buchanan, who should have won both times, but didn’t.
Best Wishes for the future.

They said JT was the 2nd Survivor winner to receive all votes. Who was the first? I love JT, he is too young for me, but if he likes his women older I’m the one for him, lol.
Glad he won, congrats JT!!
