Kevin Bacon had his BlackBerry stolen, by a thief, at the Seventh Avenue subway station on Thursday, reports the NY Post. The robber audaciously swiped Bacon’s phone at around 10:50 a.m. making off with a potentially full catalog of Hollywood A-list stars numbers. It is reasonable to assume that the number catalog would have included his wife, and “The Closer” star, Kyra Sedgwick.
Although the footloose Bacon pursued the thief, after the theft occurred, through the stations crowd, the crook managed to get away. This wasn’t Bacon’s first rendezvous with robbery either, he was also taken by Ponzi- Schemer Bernie Madoff, who plead guilty to heading a $65 billion scam back in March. A spokesperson for Bacon told the Post that the “Footloose” star was traveling with his band, and was unavailable for comment.
Hopefully Kevin Bacon was wise enough to not store anything too personal in that BlackBerry of his, or we might end up seeing it in the tabloids shortly.
