On Friday, Barry Bonds’ second wife, Liz Watson cited “irreconcilable differences” in documents she submitted to the LA County Superior Court. Liz Watson has requested joint-custody of their daughter, and is seeking spousal support.
Barry Bonds broke the record for number of home runs hit in the Major Leagues, with an unbelievable 755. But, his record was slightly tarnished with allegations of steroid use. Many baseball fans now consider his record to have an asterisk next to it in the annals of the sport’s history.
Details of Liz Watson’s life are few and far between. What we do know is that she married Barry Bonds back in 1998 at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. Liz and Barry have been living together in Los Altos Hills, California.
Barry Bonds and Liz Watson have a daughter together named Aisha. The couple also has a home in Beverly Hills in an upscale, gated community.

Barry Bonds is the best player that ever played steroids or not. anyone that thinks otherwise is just not thinking properly. Look at stats and you can see that. The who0le league is on roids. Its not a big deal. People need to stop hating Barry just cause he is the best player ever and he happens to be a black guy.

ejc - I can see where you’re coming from..it was hard to write this piece without touching on the ‘roids though ;).. I used to watch Barry play with the Pirates and Bobby Bonilla way back… thanks for commenting.. keep checking back for updates.

I have known Liz since she was a little girl. All I can say is that her husband’s attitude does not seem compatible with the Liz I knew growing up. Before I even knew that they were married, I was conmmenting on the fact that he seems “out of control”. To be fair, maybe he became that way after not being given a fair shake by the media but he doesn’t seem to care about the way he presents himself. That is a shame. Liz has always been a sweet person, and I think that the concern should be proper role modelling for his children.
