All of the stories this week of a Billy Joel divorce are now confirmed. The American music icon will split from Katie Lee Joel after 5 years of marriage.
Multiple sources had reported that Billy Joel may divorce his 27-year-old wife, Katie Lee Joel, but until now we couldn’t be sure. There is even word of an alleged relationship between Katie Lee Joel and a fashion designer that may have precipitated the split.
Representatives of both parties have confirmed the the break-up, and claim that it is not a bitter one. They also flatly deny any infidelity on behalf of Katie Lee.
This is not the first time one of the pianists’ divorces have made headlines. The 60-year-old performer was once married to Christie Brinkley, and also to his business manager Elizabeth Weber.
