Polo Molina could be facing jail time because of the fact that he is already on probation for a DUI, according to TMZ.com. He was convicted of drinking and driving charges on April 20, 2007, and received a 3 year probation sentence as a result. The gossip site also reports that the D.A. could now try to convict him on violating his probation, which could land him 6 months in the slammer.

Polo Molina Biography

As a bio, he was born on May 12, 1974, in Pasadena, California. Molina founded his company in 1990 naming it Grassroots Productions. By 1992, he was known as one of the top hiphop promoters in LA. 1995 brought a huge turn of events for the entrepreneur because that was the year he met Will.i.am and Apl.de.ap, discovering what would later become The Black Eyed Peas.

Grassroots has promoted for many major corporations including: Pepsi Co., Verizon, Hard Rock Hotels, and T-Mobile, also producing several major acts including: No Doubt, Fergie and Rihanna, and Pussy Cat Dolls.

As a means to give back, Polo Molina and the Peas created “The Peapod Foundation,” which has raised food and money for charity since it was founded in 2004.
