ABC has confirmed that actress Drea de Matteo will have a recurring role on “Desperate Housewives” for season 6 of the show. Check out pictures and video here.
Without Nicolette Sheridan’s Edie around anymore “Desperate Housewives” needed someone to help maintain the shows appeal, and they may have found that person in Drea de Matteo. The Emmy-winning Sopranos actress will assume the role of Wisteria Lane’s most recent housewife, sources told EW.com. She will join the cast as a series regular, and the show is still looking for someone to fill the shoes of her husband and their son.
Over the course of her career the beauty made the “Maxim Hot 100” list twice, and has also appeared in numerous movies and television shows, including: Swordfish, Deuces Wild, The Perfect You, Prey for Rock & Roll, The Sopranos, Joey, and the Sons of Anarchy.
