Janet Jackson Jermaine Dupri Break-Up
After seven years of being together, singer Janet Jackson and producer Jermaine Dupri have split. Sources say that the couple’s lifestyles were too different and it caused them to grow distant.
Dupri was visibly absent from the Jackson memorial at the Staples Center, where Janet and family publicly mourned the loss of brother Michael. Soon after the net was buzzing with rumors that they would soon break-up.
People close to the couple have said that Dupri always wanted to go out and mingle, whereas Janet liked to keep to herself and was more private. Another reported source of their break-up was that Dupri and Janet mixed business with their relationship.
Jermaine Dupri produced several tracks for Janet lately, which could have made things more difficult.
Friends say that they should not have mixed business with pleasure. There are also claims that before the break-up, Janet hired a new publicist, and discontinued services with the publicist that she and Dupri formerly shared.
