Lindsay Lohan’s Singapore trip will be in lieu of the F1 Rocks concert, which is part of the Singapore Grand Prix. Lindsay Lohan actually landed a spot as the host.
Okay, close your eyes for a second. Now think about a Formula One car ripping around a corner at 200+ mph. Did Lindsay Lohan’s mug pop into your head? No? Well c’mon she was in Herbie Reloaded a few years ago, doesn’t that qualify her for any racing event?
Either which way, she’ll be the host of the concert series attached to the big race in Singapore this year. It turns out Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls bailed on the gig, and Lohan stepped up.
Maybe she would have done better to hold back on the comments prior to this event, eh? When asked about the racing event she said:
“…I studied NASCAR for almost a year for Herbie. It was very hot inside those cars.”
Open mouth, insert over-priced pump.
I suppose we should go easy on her, she did recently have her house burgled, and that can be quite scary. Stories have popped up though claiming that the man who broke into her house (Nick Prugo) was allegedly in her circle of friends.
What about that Lindsay?
“I don’t really want to get into the details of that. That’s for the detectives to do.”
In all seriousness, the show itself does sound like it has a killer lineup, which includes No Doubt, ZZ Top, Simple Minds and N.E.R.D., but if you’re traveling to Singapore for the show, remember—they don’t play about vandalism and littering. Michael Fay is probably still sitting on one of those Donut thingies after his run in with the rattan cane back in the mid-90’s. I’m just sayin!
