This is exciting news! There have been rumors about a Friends movie for a while now, but rumor has it that it may actually be in the works in the near future.
If there ever were a show that I think would translate well into the movie world, it has to be friends. I mean, X-files did pretty well, Sex And The City, Bah! But Friends? What a perfect idea. The writing was so hilarious for the series that I’m sure if you gave the creators 2 hours to crank out a story they could really do something special. There were already so many laughs packed into each episode, I can only imagine what they would do with a full-length movie.
