A lot of us may not have heard of Mexican rockstar Alejandra Guzman but after her latest medical fiasco everyone will know her name and take heed of unnecessary plastic surgery.

According to The Huffington Post, Alejandra Guzman decided to install some butt injections into her behind to make herself “more beautiful.” Apparently the injections caused an infection and poor Alejandra is not sitting very pretty these days.

Alejandra, a Latin Grammy winner, reportedly stated that she had the procedure (among others) to make herself more attractive to her new boyfriend. C’mon girls… we all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If a guy wants you to change your body it’s time to change boyfriends.

I am all about fixing a nose, maybe a little botox or even getting some boobs if you are seriously lacking in that department, but to inject stuff into your butt? That is taking things a little too far.

Not sitting in judgment of poor Alejandra Guzman. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, I guess. At least she is taking this unfortunate incident and using it to raise awareness about cosmetic procedures so other women will hopefully leave their butts alone.

The good news is the authorities arrested the director of the clinic after discovering other clients had complications. Upon further investigation it was found that the director had no cosmetology degrees, only a high school diploma.

Lesson learned, duly noted.
