Saturday Night Live’s Fred Armisen and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss have tied the knot. It was a simple wedding held at The Foundry in Long Island City, New York on Sunday.
The newlyweds met last fall when Moss’s Mad Men costar Jon Hamm hosted Saturday Night Live. Moss was part of a Mad Men spoof, along with John Slattery. The couple became engaged last January shortly after taking their relationship public. She brought him as her date to the Vanity Fair Oscar party. He was seen in the audience at her play Speed-the-Plow. The two were joined by friends and family for the ultra private bash. Moss wore a Claire Pettibone dress. Apparently Pettibone was the only designer Moss wanted for the big day. Congrats to the happy couple!
Funny man Fred Armisen has been a Saturday Night Live cast member since 2002. He is best known for his fantastic impression of Barack Obama. If you have not seen it, I strongly suggest you do because the impression is hysterical. Moss currently stars as Peggy Olson, the Brooklyn girl trying to make it in a man’s world on Madison Avenue in the 60’s, on the critically acclaimed show Mad Men. In 2009 Moss was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for her role on Mad Men. Armisen and Moss are definitely one talented couple.
