Football legend Lawrence Taylor was arrested Sunday night according to Florida police. Taylor who was just on last season’s “Dancing With The Stars” was arrested in Dade County Florida Sunday night at 9:57 PM for “leaving scene of an accident/property damage.”
Taylor was hauled into the police station and actually smiled for his mug shot bloodshot eyes and all. It’s a really attractive photo, trust me. He was then released on $500 bond. Now that is getting off cheap. For now. This is not Lawrence Taylor’s first run in with the law.
In May of 1996, Taylor was arrested in South Carolina on charges he tried to buy crack cocaine. He also spent some time behind bars for failure to pay child support payments on time and filing a false 1990 federal income-tax return.
Back in 1998 the linebacker was arrested by St. Petersburg police for buying $50 worth of crack cocaine from an undercover police officer.
It’s kinda interesting also that Taylor, who is a spokesperson for Nutrisystem weighed in at a whopping 253 pounds.
It really is a shame that Lawrence has taken this path in life. He had a fabulous career in football and was was named to 10 Pro Bowls and led the Giants to two Super Bowl titles. He retired in 1993.
