Rob Pattinson is People’s Sexiest Man Alive and many would agree. Rob’s popularity has blown up since starring in the Twilight movie and is about to explode once the second movie in the Twilight series New Moon comes out Friday. The New Moon movie has been hotly anticipated and fans have camped for days just to snag a ticket.

Rob Pattinson really is adorable and his sexy English accent only adds to his charm. I don’t think anyone will be surprised by People’s choice of the sexiest guy this year. Judging by the mobs of fans that follow him everywhere, he is one of the hottest and most talented young actors around today. I’ve dug up a little background on Rob….

Robert Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986, in London, England. That makes him a Taurus, so maybe Rob can be a bit bullheaded at times, yet Taurus’ are patient, dependable and passionate and if you kiss his neck (or maybe bite) he will melt in your arms.

Rob is a huge music lover and is an excellent musician, playing both the guitar and piano. When Robert was 15, he started acting in amateur plays with the Barnes Theatre Company. He was also in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He had a few other roles right before he landed the starring role as Edward Cullen in Twilight. Rob beat out 3,000 other actors to get that role!

Rob has two older sisters Lizzy and Victoria. Wanna hear an outrageous quote taken from an interview with Rob? He said: “Up until I was 12 my sisters used to dress me up as a girl and introduce me as ‘Claudia’! Twelve was a turning point as I moved to a mixed school and then I became cool and discovered hair gel.” Can you imagine? He sounds like a good sport.

Rob is People’s Sexiest Man Alive and you can’t argue with that!
