An arrest warrant was issued for David Allen Tyner 28, of Locust Grove Oklahoma on six murder complaints, because authorities say two of the victims — 22-year old Brooke Phillips and Milagrous Barrerra — both were pregnant.
While David Allen Tyner has not been formally charged with any crime, he is under suspicion for the murders. Tyner surrendered to the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office. Tyner is expected to be returned to Oklahoma County later Tuesday. It is not yet known if Tyner has hired an attorney.
One of the victims was a pregnant 22 year old Brooke Phillips. Phillips who was a prostitute, was set to be featured in the upcoming HBO series Cathouse.
Another victim was Milagrous Barrerra who was also pregnant at the time of her murder. Phillips and Barrerra both died from gunshot wounds. Firefighters discovered the four bodies on Nov. 9 in a burning home on the city’s southwest side. The other 2 victims have not yet been identified because efforts to identify them have been difficult because they were badly burned.
Police interviewed 31-year-old Jose Fernando Fierro, who rented the home and was the only person to survive the fire, but said he is not a suspect. That sounds rather suspicious to me, he was in the burning house with four dead bodies, escaped but is not a suspect?
Authorities believe they have their prime suspect however police Sgt. Gary Knight states, “We don’t believe he acted alone, we’ve identified the one suspect, but that doesn’t yet tell us what his motive is for doing this.”
And in case you’re still wondering, Police put the death toll at six because the two victims were pregnant.
