The latest to be eliminated from the hit TV show The Biggest Loser is Rebecca Meyer. She appeared on the Jay Leno show last night. Although she didn’t win, she told Jay Leno the grueling experience was more than worth it.
Not only did Rebecca lose 100 pounds she found love on the show. Rebecca and Daniel Wright have fallen in love. Rebeca said: “Daniel was my best friend, is my best friend, and after leaving the show we talked for, like, five, six-hour conversations and then…he told me he had feelings.”
Daniel Wright 20, was on season 7 only to return for this season to “finish what he started”. He was season 7’s heaviest contestant, going from 454 to 312 lbs. Since this season was all about “second chances” he got an opportunity to come back and lose another 35 lbs. before being eliminated last week.
Rebecca Meyer 25, grew up as the youngest of four children. Rebecca had struggled every day for the last 14 years with her weight, being the heaviest in her family. Back when Rebecca was about 17 she starved herself and lost 80 pounds. She quickly regained the 80 pounds plus an additional 50!
In high school Rebecca was always active in sports and the R.O.T.C. She always planned on a military career but could never get her weight down far enough to reach the military requirements.
While Meyer is a resident of Des Moines in Iowa while Wright lives at Willow Spring in North Carolina they make it a point to meet up twice a month.
This relationship could work out, remember Suzy Preston and Matt Hoover from Season 2 got married and had a couple of kids.
