Fashion designer/author/reality TV star, Lauren Conrad wants to help you get a better style. Yep LC is giving the world some style tips in her new book Lauren Conrad Style which will be released in 2010. It isn’t the worst idea I have ever heard, in fact I think I kind of like it.
In her new book Lauren will not only give fashion tips, but she will show readers how they can incorporate her style in with their own personal style. I think LC has great style, but I don’t know that I would want to incorporate it into my own life. According to Conrad the book will offer tips that are practical and useful to all women. I admit my interest in this style guide is peaked, Lauren does have good fashion sense, her Kohl’s clothing line is pretty decent, plus she always looks great so I guess she knows what she is talking about.
Lauren is turning into quite the little writer. Her fist book L.A. Candy which is really just a rip off of Lauren’s life, was very successful. I haven’t actually read the book, but I heard it was pretty good. L.A Candy landed on The New York Times Best Seller list and it is going to be turned into a movie! Not bad for a first time writer. The second book, Sweet Little Lies, in the three book series will hit bookshelves in February.
LC is one busy girl. It sure is a good thing she left The Hills since it seems she is all about her writing. I bet Heidi and Spencer are not too happy that Lauren’s new how to style guide book announcement is coming out so close to the release of their How To Be Famous book. I would read Lauren’s book over the Pratt’s book any day.
She may no longer be on The Hills but LC certainly isn’t giving up the spotlight anytime soon.
