Courteney Cox has stopped filming on her ABC show Cougar Town, temporarily that is. Apparently Cox is having a family matter that needs her undivided attention. There is no word on what the family matter is, however it must be serious for Cox to be able to shut down production on the show.

The comedy Cougar Town debuted this fall and has been an excellent addition to ABC’s comedy Wednesday. Cox plays Jules, recently divorced 40 something thrown back into the dating world. The insecure Jules who soon finds herself involved with a 20 something hottie. The show is hysterical and Cox still has the comedic talent that made her a star. One might think that Cox, who is gorgeous and has a body most women would die for, wouldn’t be believable as an insecure desperate women but she pulls it off effortlessly.

Since the details around the family matter that has closed the set of Cougar Town have not been released, the rumors and speculation are running ramped. Is she pregnant again, are her and cutie husband actor David Arquette having marital problems? It is no secret that Courteney and David were hoping to add to their clan, which includes their daughter Coco. Courteney and David have always seemed like the perfect celebrity couple, just click here to see a video of them. Although we all know no couple is perfect I certainly hope that things turn out fabulous for them. Best of luck to Courteney, as she deals with whatever the family issue is.

Cox may be the star and executive producer of Cougar Town but the cast is full of actors and actresses that are sexy, hot and talented. Calling Josh Hopkins and Nick Zano! Even Busy Phillips with her killer rack proves she is more than just a pretty face. I hope whatever is happening with Courteney, whose name by the way I always want to spell Courtney no extra e needed in my opinion, doesn’t keep this show shut down for long.
