The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney is getting into the holiday spirit. Sweeney recently held a Hallmark Celebri-Tree Open House and Auction in her home to benefit Feed America. The auction, which runs through December 15th, features personalized keepsake ornaments and recordable storybooks designed by celebrities. Alison Sweeney has been the host of the NBC hit reality show The Biggest Loser since 2007. Since then Sweeney, who has struggled with weight issues of her own, has become a household name. The show in my opinion has become so much better since Sweeney took over hosting duties from Caroline Rhea. Alison relates to the contestants on a level that Rhea never did.
Although she is known to many as The Biggest Loser host, those of us die hard Days of Our Lives fans will always know Alison as Sami Brady. The troubled teen, turned villainess, turned heroine, that keeps me watching Days Of Our Lives. Alison Sweeney literally grew up on Days. She began portraying Sami Brady at the young age of 16 going from young teen to a hot in demand woman. Sami is still my favorite Days character after all these years and that is totally due to Sweeney.
She may be a celebrity, but Sweeney’s favorite role is wife and mother. Married to hubby Dave Sanov for almost 10 years, the couple has son Ben and daughter Megan.
Sweeney released the book All The Days of My Life, So Far in 2004 which chronicles her life in Hollywood, so far. The book is truly inspiring, especially the section where she discusses her struggles with her weight. Plus there are amazing pictures of Sweeney and her family.

She has certainly conquered the television world. Although I think she would be super successful in movies and films I hope she stays right where she is at on Days and The Biggest Loser.
