Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima and husband NBA Memphis Grizzlies star Marko Jaric welcomed their first child a beautiful baby girl named Valentina Lima Jaric.
Sounds like a fairy tale romance. Marko and Adriana dated for 2 years, he popped the question on Adriana’s 27th birthday and they married on Valentine’s Day 2009. Moving right along, soon after their honeymoon the two announced that they were expecting. At the time, Lima told People, “We are so excited! We wanted this. We were ready.” Marko added, “Even in my wildest days I knew that I wanted to be the ultimate family man. We’re ready to settle down.”
Adriana is not only a Victoria Secret model she is also a spokesperson for Maybelline cosmetics and in 2006, Lima ranked as the fifth highest paid supermodel. Lima has also appeared in a couple movies and as a guest star on the ever popular television show Ugly Betty. In November 2008, Models.com featured her at No.1 on the list of the Sexiest Models today. The super hot bilingual model hails from Brazil and speaks her native Portuguese and also English and French.
Marko Jaric is a professional basketball player. He started on the Los Angeles Clippers and was then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. He went from being a wolf to a bear when he was traded to the Grizzles in 2008.
Lima’s rep told PEOPLE magazine: Adriana and Marko are thrilled to announce they had a baby girl, Valentina Lima Jaric. Mother, father and baby are all doing well.” Who knows, this baby could grow up to be one of the best looking basketball players, ever!
