Tracy Kachtick-Anders has emerged as Rosie O’Donnell’s girlfriend. Get the story here along with photos and video.

Last month Rosie told the world that her long time girlfriend Kelli Carpenter had moved out. Since then she has complained of being a sad, lonely lass. Now things are looking up for the former View host after she was spotted with a new gal on the beach in Miami.

So who is this new lady? Well, her name is Tracy Kachtick-Anders. She is reportedly a Texas based artist and mother of six. It turns out that Tracy is a major LGBT rights activist who has fought for the right to adopt. In fact, the Huffington Post reports that five or her six children are adopted, and some of them are special-needs.

That information has left me slightly confused. Okay, I get that she is batting for both teams, but what about the hyphenated last name? Doesn’t that typically indicate that a woman has kept her last name after marrying? Ah, well, I suppose her mother could have given her the hyphenated name. If her and Rosie stick together and end up married, would her last name be Kachtick-Anders-O’Donnell?

Reports state that the two met through Rosie’s blog, where they later confirmed their relationship to readers in the ‘Ask Ro’ section. Here is a snippet from a fan who inquired about Tracy.

‘So Ro, your new lady friend is the gal that had her picture taken with you on a jet ski in Miami a couple months ago right?’

Rosie offers the simple response, ‘Yes. She was on the Jet Ski in Miami.’
