Danity Kane Did Not Split
Danity Kane was formed in 2005 when Diddy picked five girls from a huge number of competitors who auditioned via Diddy’s Making The Band MTV reality show. Danity Kane consists of members, Aubrey O’Day, Wanita Woodgette, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres. Since the start the group has faced rumors of a split, but given the three years they have been together, it looks like its just another rumor.
Causing much of the Danity Kane break up rumors is member Aubrey O’Day who has been rumored to have a romantic relationship with Diddy. O’day denies this and says their fights prove their relationship is strictly platonic.
“I just don’t feel the need to respond to it at all. People are usually sensitive to things when they’re true, and they feel like people are exposing them. It’s ridiculous. And trust me, of all the things that I’m attracted to in a man, Diddy is none of those things. I run my career, I don’t depend on anyone else to make me hot.”
Aubrey also denied any breakup of Danity Kane: “I am very dedicated to Danity Kane, and nothing I can ever do will conflict with my respect, love, and dedication to that project. So, on my end, there will never be any issues. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I can speak for myself.”
An Atlantic Records spokesperson denied the split as well, saying Danity Kane is touring together and working on their third studio album.
