Meet Skylar Deleon, a former actor who is being charged with the murder of Thomas and Jackie Hawks. His best-known role was on Power Rangers. Read his biography and see photos and video here.

Skylar Deleon is a former television actor, who is now facing murder charges. Apparently CNN said he starred in Power Rangers, but the people at Rangerboard, so it isn’t so. After looking more into it, we found he had a small non-speaking part in the series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which aired May 4, 1994.
Skylar Deleon was born on August 12, 1979, and is the son of a convicted drug dealer. He began acting at a young age, and at the age of 14 landed his part in the series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. However his acting career didn’t last long, as he was not one to remember lines. When he was 20 he joined the United States Marine Corps, but went UA (Unauthorized Absence) after fifteen months.
It was in November 2004, Skylar Deleon answered an ad regarding the sale of a yacht. Thomas and Jackie Hawks were the owners, who were retired and looking to sell the yacht to buy a new home. According to reports the couple was suspicious of Deleon, but after he brought his pregnant wife, Jennifer Deleon and their child, their nerves settled. A few days later on a test cruise in Newport Beach Harbor, Deleon and two accomplices and Alonso Machain, reportedly bound and gagged the couple and threw them overboard. The Hawkes bodies have never been found.
According to authorities, Skylar Deleon was the mastermind of the murder, in hopes of financial gain. In March 2005, Machain confessed to the crime. Deleon and his wife Jennifer, Kennedy, and Machain were arrested in connection with the couple’s disappearance. Skylar Deleon maintains his innocence, claiming that he was not present at the time and that the couple was killed over a bad drug deal.
Skylar Deleon has not been able to keep out of trouble even while in jail, as he was also charged with soliciting another inmate to murder his father and cousin. And was also accused of killing John Jarvi.
Deleon’s wife, Jennifer, was sentenced to two life terms without the possibility of parole after being found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder.
UPDATE
Skylar Deleon has been given the death sentence for the murders of Thomas and Jackie Hawks. Orange County Superior Court Judge Frank Fasel said;
“The mental anguish and torment these three people must have anticipated while bound and eventually experiencing their ultimate fates warrants the death penalty instead of life without parole.”
Hopefully this brings the Hawks families a bit of closure. So sad.

Luckily I would not know Green, White, or Rainbow. Thank God my kids were old enough they wouldn’t watch that lame crap. And thank God I am smart enough not to let the g-kids watch it!!

Our lawmakers are retardrd. The tax payers flip the bill to house these worthless waste of human flesh. If you willfully take an innocent life, you should be put to death. This life in prison is a joke. The inmates get 3 meals a day, a place to sleep, and the best workout facility you can imagine. Our prisons are over crowded, put all death row inmates to death,NOW not 20 years from now.

i totally agree w/steve ryan, people sit on death row way too long, why allow them to sit in jail, seperated from the other jailers and very comfortable i might add, it’s a joke, people who are in jail for stealing get it worse than the people on death row and it’s really sad, i don’t understand what all the courts dates are for, he did it, just like the rest of the animals on death row, but lets parade them in front of a judge year after year to get pushed back what should have happened when they were found guilty. The system is a joke, and they are constantly raising taxes, stop waisting my money on death row inmates and put em down like the dogs they are. 20 years on death row, they may as well be out on bond living it up. IT’S REALLY SAD.

Now I’m not going to call someone on death row an animal because they are not. Now I agree that if they committed murder and get the death penalty that they should be put to death a whole lot sooner. But to call these people animals, and trash…….who am I to say that. Murders, yes they are that and should be treated as such.

I disagree the death penalty is the same as murder so by using it it makes u just as bad as him or any other murderer. Nothing justifies taking another human’s life. U put them in prison for life and that’s all that should be done. And I don’t think being in prison is like being out living ur life.
