“Britney: For The Record” is a 90 minute MTV special that will air just before the release of Britney’s new album, Circus. In the film, Britney will address and clarify her meltdown, divorce, losing custody of her sons, and shaving her head. You can catch a glimpse of the film below.
“So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know. I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”
I was hoping she would do something like this. Not that she should be obligated to help us understand her issues, but just because it was in the media so much and she should have her chance to explain and show people she is back on track. And it seems like Britney feels she is back on track. She says in “Britney: For The Record,”
“I sit there and I’ll look back and I’m like: I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?”
“Britney: For The Record” described as showing “the reality of trying to live a normal life after all that has been exposed through the media,” will air on MTV November 30.
