The Bridge has been added to CBS’ slate. The network has ordered 13 episodes of the crime drama starring Aaron Douglas from Battlestar Galactica. See photos and video after the jump.
The Bridge, starring Aaron Douglas, has been picked up by CBS. The series sounds like it won’t be following the normal cop drama format where all used to. The Canadian cop drama will center on uniforms and their corrupt hire-up’s along with sleaze ball politicians. CBS and CTV will coproduce the series together.
The Bridge was created by former Toronto union head Craig Bromell and written by Alan Di Fiore. Cast in the series as Bromell is Aaron Douglas. Paul Popowich will be play Frank’s partner, Tommy Dunn. Also cast in The Bridge is Inga Cadranel, Frank Cassini, Theresa Joy, Ona Grauer, Michael Murphy and Stuart Margolin are the other stars in the cast. Filming will take place in Toronto this Spring.
