It seems the little princess Anne Hathaway is trying to leave her fairy tale days behind, and present a more mature and edgier look. She shows all as she dons the cover of the March edition of British GQ.
After being in the ‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Enchanted’ this gorgeous brunette wants to try presenting a new image that isn’t so innocent. She tries to accomplish this by strutting her scantily clad body all over the magazine and talking about movie make outs. Hear more of what she had to say and see photos below.
She first turned down the lead and most desired role of Alice, to play the White Queen instead, in Tim Burton’s remake of ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ describing:
“I considered it, but felt, what with ‘The Princess Diaries’, that I had been there, done that sort of pretty-girl-in-a-fairy-dress role.”
Now the 27 year old star in her newest movie ‘Valentine’s Day,’ teaches GQ all about movie kissing. Apparently she doesn’t think much of her kissing technique, but does have some good advice, and props for other actresses.
“It’s a totally different experience,” she says of the forceful kiss. “But really you have to be Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I ain’t no Angie.”
And about making the lip locking more believable:
“If you’re both unattached and you get along, of course kissing in a movie is fun,” she tells the mag. “But you can never get truly deep down and into it. Well, I can’t. Jennifer Garner – now that girl can movie kiss. I gotta say that girl can really give it some up there…”
You can see some more of her magazine photos here.
I can understand her desire to not play the bedtime story heroine again and to be type casted. I think it may be a little bit of a strong sentiment and I think she is starting to get a little too confident. Maybe that just me, though? Let me know what you think below.
