Asia’h Epperson Biography

Asia’h Epperson’s biography begins when she was born and raised in Joplin, Mo. She is 19 and auditioned for American Idol in Atlanta, Ga. On Feb 5th her audition was televised and she won America over with her heartbreaking story. Days before her audition, her father was tragically killed in a car accident. As a tribute to him she sang LeAnn Rimes’ “How Do I Live.”

As far as performing goes, people who know Asia’h say they aren’t surprised she has made it onto American Idol Season 7. A former teacher of the singer says,

“She was a very talented child, very outgoing and personable. When it came to performing, she would just light up the stage.”

Back home, Asia’h’s town is rooting for her already. I think her dad would be proud.

It was a HUGE mistake for America to let Asia’h Epperson, 19, from Joplin, Mo go last night. She clearly has everything that the teens of today flocked to and admire, TALENT, BEAUTY, GREAT PERSONALITY, THE CAMERA LOVES HER and she’s humble to boot. I’ve seen a lot of new talent come across my television screen and onto my radio, and so very few hold a candle to Asia’h. How any of this hip-hop producers could let a gem like this escape is beyond me.

Asia’h if you’re reading this…you know your daddy would be very proud of you, and when those celebrity monguls come knocking on your door keep that in mind. In other words, when they ask you to sell your soul for sales…DON’T! Also, don’t fall into the trap of alcohol, sex and drugs like so many young starlets before you. The way I’ve always remained grounded in life and was still able to have fun is to always ask myself, “If my daddy were alive and he saw me doing this would he be proud or ashamed?” It really keeps you on track.

Well, good luck with your career. I look forward to buying your CDs in the near future.
