Twitter’s Bobby Brown death rumor is, amazingly, false according to the man himself. He confirmed that he was still very much alive and breathing when he appeared on a radio show after learning of the fracas. Check out the full story, with pictures and video below!

The best part is, people began to get suspicious due to the fact that he had not posted on Twitter recently! His final post had been on April 20th stating that he was ‘druuuuunk,’ and after 10 days of silence, a sarcastic comment about his possible death being the reason for the silence turned into a full blown viral news story.

The New Edition star called in to a local radio station to clear the Bobby Brown death rumors.

“I heard about it yesterday and you know, I brushed it off,” he told V-103 listeners. “I think that Twitter’s getting out of hand. If they kill me off that soon. I don’t even Twitter but, at the same time. I’m alive, period.”

The “King of R&B,” according to Whitney Huston, started to get curious when he started getting calls from loved ones checking to see if he was okay.

“People started calling my phone. People started calling me and asking me am I okay,” he explained. “If you don’t see me or hear from me, it doesn’t mean I’m dead. I’m just thankful, man. I got everyday to look for.”

It’s crazy how fast fake news spreads these days. And why do we keep killing off celebrities? Brittney Spears and Johnny Depp are among those reported dead via Twitter as well. Who really trusts news from tweets anymore?

Do you think the Bobby Brown death rumor is the last hoax we’ll be getting from Twitter this month? This week? Who do you think will be next to be killed off by the popular site? Let me know in the comment section!
