The latest in the Duggar family news is, Duggar Baby No. 19 is doing well! Good to hear as the baby came early and was very tiny at birth, born via Cesarean section.

This baby for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar was the 19th and the third c-section for Michelle. Little Josie Brooklyn Duggar was born at 6:27 pm and was just 1 pound and 6 ounces, she is a micro-preemie that will need constant care from a team of doctors and nurses.

Michelle had to have an emergency c-section for Duggar baby No. 19 after being hospitalized for a gallstone. Michelle was suffering from preeclampsia, so her doctors decided to perform an emergency c-section. The baby came earlier this month although she wasn’t due until March 18th.

Since the Duggar baby no. 19 is so tiny, she will remain at the University of Arkansas until she is able to come home. The Duggars plan to move the family to be closer to Josie. Jim Bob stated: “Our entire family is planning to relocate to Little Rock temporarily to be close to Josie. In the meantime, we’re grateful that a close friend in Little Rock has opened up their home to us for the holidays.”

The Duggars are well known due to their reality show 18 and Counting… Of course they’ll have to change the name for next season. The family consists of 19 children, nine girls and ten boys (including two sets of fraternal twins), who all have names starting with the letter “J”. The family runs like a well oiled machine.

Who knows when their family will be complete. It’s beyond me how they can handle all those kids. On the surface it looks like they have a good handle on the children and hey, what’s one more, right?
