Jenna Talackova, the transgender Beauty Queen has hired the infamous Gloria Allred to fight for her right to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.

Talackova, was competing as Miss Universe Canada but was disqualified from the competition for not being a “naturally born female.” However the drama really began yesterday when she was told that she would be allowed to compete if she can meet her country’s “legal gender recognition requirements.” Whatever that means.

Well, this seemed to upset Jenna even more, and she went and hired hot shot attorney Gloria Allred, who held a press conference today saying that “her client never asked Trump to prove he was born a man or show her his “anatomy,” so why should it have made a difference to him how Talackova was born?”

Things are getting nasty, but I don’t think Jenna Talackova, the transgender Miss Universe, will be allowed to reenter to competition. The rules are set and it would be too controversial to change them.

Jenna disagrees. She underwent surgery at the age of 19 and has been living as a woman for several years.

“I am a woman. I was devastated and I felt that excluding me for the reason that they gave was unjust. I have never asked for any special consideration. I only wanted to compete. I saw the statement by Mr. Trump’s representative that was issued yesterday, and I find it quite confusing. I wish Mr. Trump would just say, in plain words, whether or not I will be allowed to compete and, if I win, whether I will be allowed to represent Canada in the Miss Universe competition. I also want Mr. Trump to clearly state that this rule will be eliminated because I do not want any other woman to suffer the discrimination that I have to endure.”

Isiah Thomas was extremely touched by the all star players that came out to support his mother and their cause. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire all took to the court for Sunday’s charity game, which was played in FIU’s 5,000-capacity gym.
“It wasn’t a discussion,” Thomas told the Times. “It was basically, ‘We want to come to F.I.U., we want to honor your mom and we want to play at F.I.U. and do the charity game there. I’m humbled. It’s very, very kind.”

It was a fun filled game with Team Wade beating Team LeBron 141-140 in overtime.

After the game LeBron took the microphone and gave a very heartfelt speech thanking the fans and the other players.

“To stand outside as long as you guys did to watch us play the game of basketball, we as players, wanted to play at a high level. Thank you guys, thank you so much. We appreciate every last one of you. There’s no us without you guys. Lastly, these guys right here. You don’t understand how busy schedules can be and for every last one of these guys to throw away their schedule to be a part of this I want ya’ll to give them a hand.”

Well if this game didn’t make you think twice about a NBA lockout then I don’t know what will. Are you going to go crazy missing the games or do you think they will work things out in time?

Summer is always a fun time, but I never understood why all shows went on hiatus. I am more likely to get hooked on a show during the summer because in the evenings I just want to relax after a long day outdoors. Whale Wars, Weeds, and True Blood got me through this summer, but I wont be sad to trade them for my regular line up!

The former “Scrubs” and “Clueless” star finally popped the question to girlfriend of over 5 years, Cacee Cobb. Don’t know who Cacee Cobb is? Don’t feel bad, not many people do right off the top of their head, but a little refresher usually lends a collective “Ohhh!”

Remember when Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were TVs “it” couple instead of Kim and Kris? Well, Cacee is Jess’s cute little blonde best buddy and sometimes assistant that would pop-up on their ill-fated show “Newlyweds” from time to time as well as occasional appearances on “The Price of Beauty”. Yeah, now you remember!

Anyway, it wouldn’t have been a proper Hollywood proposal without some kind of Twitter involvement. Faison tweeted the now infamous lyric from Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” to hint at his intentions. It wasn’t long before Cobb replied with, “If she likes it then she better say YES!!” Pure romance.

Famous best buds Zach Braff and Jessica Simpson had nothing but encouraging words for their friends as well:

“Congratulations to Donald and CaCee on their engagement. Just wish I was there to run around you both with sparklers,” Braff tweeted.

Simpson added (along with pictures of Cobb showing off her ring), “Congratulations, Cacee! I love you and your man!”

So a big congratulations is due to Donald Faison and Cacee Cobb on their impending nuptials and your new, blended family (Faison has four children from previous relationships).

I love FX, but they have always been kind of hit or miss when it comes to their original programming in the drama department (though Sons of Anarchy is great and Rescue Me is fantastic, but on its way out). Comedy though, they have down to an art (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Wilfred, The League, Louie… love em all). So when they started promoting this new show, I couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and take a closer look.

From the minds of the geniuses behind Glee (Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck) we have the story of the Harmon family. After falling on hard times, Ben (Dylan McDermott), his wife Vivien (Connie Britton), and their daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga) relocate to Los Angeles. And that is about all we know, ladies and gentlemen!

From the promos for the show, however, it is easy to surmise that their new home isn’t the most constructive place to try to get your life back on track. From people catching on fire, to ghostly maids, and of course that creepy S&M looking character that keeps popping out of walls, we will just go ahead an conclude that they share their new home with more than they realized.

The new promos certainly have you asking more questions than they answer, but that is exactly what FX wants. Not to mention their YouTube clue videos and the “American Horror Story House Call” campaign in which they appear to be pulling pranks on people with the previously mentioned S&M black leather character. Can’t say I would be stoked to see him standing in my shower. I guess we will just have to wait and see what the show is really about and whether or not it will make the weekly DVR cut, but here’s hoping it will be as scary (and sexy!) as it looks! Tune in to the series premiere on October 5th!

It all began when a recent episode of Carolla’s podcast delved into the subject of the LGBT community. Ever the gentleman, his comments eventually spiraled their way into an all out rant that raised the question “…when did we start giving a sh** about these people.”

Out comes an “apology.” The only problem is that he has apparently had similar rants in the past, and has made no secret about his distaste for gay folks.

Either way, here is what passes for an apology these days:

“”I’m sorry my comments were hurtful. I’m a comedian, not a politician.”

Do you forgive him, or is he just “sorry” because he got called out on this one?

RadarOnline brings us this little ditty, which includes a sneak peak at the episode set to air this Sunday night. The man, named Floyd, is literally buried in junk and filth. So much that even his older daughter cringes as she leaves the two younger kids with him, saying:

“I feel bad for these kids…They can’t take care of themselves yet. They don’t know what’s going on and it’s just sad.”

The video shows who seems like he truly loves his children, but in my estimation has a serious mental health issue. His busted trailer really looks like something The Hills Have Eyes.

The kids seem relatively happy, but what I don’t understand is what the hell the other daughter is thinking. She even says she is scared for the children, which by the way is time perfectly with a clip of a ginormous spider lurking around by a window.

Could she be culpable if child protection does decide to take action? I suppose that would depend on her age, which is unclear right now, but she certainly seems with it enough to show concern.

TLC is plugging the heck out of this episode, and is offering up a few different video clips teasing the craziness. In one of the videos a woman claiming to be a phsychologist tells Lloyd that she has to call CPS because, in her words, he is “harming” the kids.

It’s all pretty disturbing, but hopefully things get straightened out after authorities get involved. Most likely, he’ll have a time frame to clean up his act, and if all goes as planned, he will be reunited with the kids afterwards…

This one was culled straight from annals of uber D-list celebrity douchebaggery. You may know Kim G. as the saucy senior who spends time stirring up all of the drama she can get her claws into on the Jersey version of the Real Housewives.

Apparently when she’s not nosing her way into high profile events and parties on the show, she is getting very cozy with Michael Lohan, who has proven to have at least a small understanding of how to promote himself to the entertainment media.

Both of them are in desperate need of attention as they paddle their way farther and farther down the F-list stream – but hey, at least they can do it hand in hand, right?

Bumpshack reports that they aren’t shy about their feelings for each other either (I hope you haven’t eaten recently). Kim says:

“He is always so willing to help out. He is very outgoing and nice and kind to everyone. He likes to get up before me and makes breakfast or goes out and gets it. I have never had anyone wait on me like that.”

Yes, daddy Lohan has apparently joined her hired “help,” and probably fetches her dentures for her in the morning, too. What he gets in return for all of that effort is something I will spend the next few days trying to expel from my brain.

It turns out these two weirdos met while filming a pilot for a new show. What that could be about escapes me, but I have a feeling it won’t make it to Bravo.

Yes, no one can possibly be that stupid. Evans was picked up this week after perpetrating “multiple probation violations,” and could spend up to 45 days in jail.

This time around she is in trouble for failing a drug test while on probation, but the most unbelievable part is that she was dumb enough to re-establish contact with that douchey guy Keiffer – which also allegedly violated the terms of her probation.

Just like everyone else, I nearly wet myself laughing at how ungodly awful the song was. Yes, it was overproduced, cheesy, and actually kind of disturbing. I couldn’t believe it was real. It rang all kinds of alarm bells, even for manufactured teeny bopper pop – but things got out of control.

Forums, websites, blogs and the social networks went completely banana-sandwich with hate. The parodies began to flood the web, which were viewed by the millions.

But the level of vitriol and the fire behind some of the comments was worse than her music. People made it their full time jobs to rag on her. She became a household name, and even tried to remove the song from her repertoire in an effort to reboot her short career.

Now we’re learning that she has withdrawn from school because of bullying by her classmates. Her journey has now gone from amusing to horribly sad.

Black and her mother claim that other students would taunt her on Fridays, and sing her song to her in a mocking manner.

Her mother says: “It’s hard to go to school when you are so famous and to have kids constantly making fun of what’s going on…”

They even claim she still receives death threats. Unbelievable. But Rebecca is not curling up into a little ball and giving up. She says:

“I’ve had a lot of experience with not being liked and all that… I think if I hadn’t had to deal with that in the past … I would have gone down in burning flames. But I’ve learned that you just can’t let it get to you.”

Well said. Will I be bullied for saying I’m starting to admire this girl?
