James Franco is stirring things up again, this time by posing in drag on the cover of Candy Magazine! For more info on the cover, photos, and news on his newest project, keep on reading!
James Franco does it again! Not one to let an opportunity for good art and fashion to pass him by (or to raise questions and stir up some controversy), the young actor has really done it this time. That lipstick! Those cheekbones! Those eyelashes! Why is it that when guys dress up as girls they are more often than not better looking than most actual women? The world may never know.
Speculation on James Franco’s sexual orientation has been swirling for years. Despite insisting he is straight, he continues to take provocative roles in movies and is now posing on the cover of Candy Magazine in full drag.
I’m assuming it is to stir up some talk about his new movie, Howl, in which he plays iconic gay beat poet Allen Ginsberg. Since this isn’t the first gay role Franco has openly taken, its no wonder people question his sexuality (except there is a very good reason he was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Milk… he is a spectacular actor!).
At least he is able to make fun of himself and have an open mind (has anyone seen his appearance on 30 Rock? Nuff said.) He’s obviously pretty secure in his sexuality, whatever that may be, to appear in drag on the cover of Candy. He does make a pretty lady, though, if I do say so myself.
