Javier Colon is a mighty strong front-runner on The Voice, and I have a feeling he will take it all the way.
I hadn’t even planned on watching the show until I saw clips of him singing “Over The Rainbow” on the early previews. He has snazz and pizzazz, and some real talent.
Sure, he was doing vocal Olympics with a few too many runs, but he had me hypnotized right away. They might as well end the show now and hand it over to him. He’s that good.
Watch this video posted by Celebuzz which shows him singing a heartfelt tune for his daughters, and then try to disagree with me.

After reading this story at Pop On The Pop, I decided that Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley need to just stay away from each other.
…now back to the story. Did you see the video? I really think with a little work from his coach, Javier has it in the bag.
Even though the show is supposed to really only focus on the person’s voice, let’s face it, looks do count for something. If the producers expect any of these people to get anywhere, they probably need to not look like they were run over by the ugly bus. Javier can pull it off.
Who do you think will win The Voice?
