I understand your perspective on feeling that Jimmy Kimmel may have gone too far with the impersonation, but I really feel that what he was doing wasn’t just for entertainment purposes. In a way I think it was necessary because in hollywood when someone does something wrong, far too often the response from people within the industry is just some sort of weak, wishy-washy indication of slight disapproval. However, I think Jimmy wanted to make it clear that he felt that Jay was using his clout to bully Conan out of a spot that he worked hard to earn. No matter which way you slice it, Conan is being made to look like a chump due to another man’s self centered ambitions,and NBC’s spineless willingness to cater to them. What Jimmy did was refreshing because it was a blatant mockery of a man who apparently isn’t going to get his ego checked any other way. I feel sorry for Conan, and I’m glad to see that he has a friend who was willing to go out on a limb in his defense.

Yeh, Kimmel and O’brian are the present and future, just like their juvenile immature fans, lazy and sooo stupid! At least Jay is halfway mature, and somewhat educated, and knows his business.
