Kate Gosselin’s hair has always been a subject for the blogs, but this time it seems that she made headlines for an improvement. Perhaps it was the many celebrities that posed as Kate for Halloween with atrocious wigs on, shaped in her tragic signature hair cut, that inspired the reality TV star to make the change.
Regardless of the reason, I am relieved. I have to say after seeing the picture on People, found here, I didn’t even recognize her. She looks great! Long hair definitely suits her, especially being she seems to have committed to sporting one style this time around.
Ted Gibson, who has worked with celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway, was the stylist who created Kate’s new look, which took 20 hours to create! He told RadarOnline that the look would generally run $7,000 at his salon.
“My haircuts are $950. The color would have been about $500, and the extensions, which were great length extensions, would probably cost about $5000…We were together for about 20 hours and I would say 15 of those hours were working on Kate trying to convince her to cut her bangs. I felt like she was hiding behind that front piece. I wanted to make sure I took her from being really ordinary to really extraordinary!”
To maintain her new cut, Gosselin will have to take to make a trip to the salon ever three to four months, but it seems she is happy with her new look. Gibson said,
“She was blown away, she had no idea what the length of hair and changing the color and bangs would do for her!”

I think it looks terrible. She looked better with the old hairstyle. As if your hair makes you who you are anyway. She is just trying to stay in the public eye.

So, this is the woman who recently sobbed that she felt she HAD to take 100,000 out of the joint bank account to feed her children. We had 4 children, which by this math should mean we need 50,000 dollars to feed them. Well guess what? On that much we feed, clothe, entertain, and educate them for an entire year.
And now she blows 7000 on some fake hair. Sure she looks nice…we all could look nice for that kind of money! After her recent hysterics about her financial situation, though, she’d have had much more class if she’d have gotten a haircut at GreatClips and gave the rest of the money to charity. I’m SO sick of celebrities in general…say one thing, do another… Glamour is a state of mind, not a man-made look.
