According to reports, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have made an offer on the Saperstein Estate mansion listed for $125 million in Beverly Hills. The two have spent the past three months searching for a home in California, when they found this mansion built by David and Suzanne Saperstein in the early 1990s. The Sapersteins dubbed the Estate the Fleur de Lys after spending nearly five years renovating it.
The amount that Carey and Cannon offered for French Chateau-style mansion has not been made public.
Reports indicate that the Estate features 15 bedrooms, French limestone floors, a 3,000-square-foot manager’s house, ornamental gardens with mature trees, staff quarters fitting up to 10 people, a championship tennis court, and gold-leaf crowned moldings to complement the Italian marble walls. The extravagant home also includes a library, a ballroom, and a movie theatre with occupancy for 50.
A source close to Carey and Cannon, who wed at their home in the Bahamas last April says, “They like the home because there’s so little that needs doing to it.”
