Mario Lavandeira is Perez Hilton

Mario Lavandeira, aka, Perez Hilton has found himself in hot water recently, first GLAAD demanded an apology for the “gay” comment he made to Will.i.am during an exchange of words, and now for initially questioning if Michael Jackson was trying to pull a stunt by faking cardiac arrest.

It has only been a few days since his tiff with the Black Eyed Peas, but once again the blogger better known as Perez Hilton is playing defense for allegedly posting a crass statement about Michael Jackson on his Web site Perezhilton.com. According to the Mercury News, he allegedly posted that he doubted that Jackson had gone into cardiac arrest, and that he may have been faking to get out of his upcoming London concerts.

Needless to say that the self-proclaimed “Queen of Gossip” was wrong, and due to his remarks there has been a twitter uprising calling for his “followers” to “unfollow” him. Even some celebrities have joined the cause including “Fall Out Boys,” Pete Wentz who has reportedly chastised the blogger.

In all fairness P-Nasty did release a statement saying that he made a mistake, and that he is owning up to it, saying in a statement that he was “genuinely feeling sorry that he (Jackson) died and sorry for his kids.”
