As a biography, Marsha Thomason was born in Moston, Manchester, England on January 19, 1976. Her age is 34 and height is 5’ 10” (1.78 m). Her English father, Peter Thomason worked as a politician and her mother Phyllis – who is from Jamaica – worked for an electronics company. This exotic beauty was enrolled at Holy Trinity Primary School in Blackley, and North Manchester High School for Girls, before attending Oldham Sixth Form College to study for A levels in Media Studies, Theatre Studies and Performing Arts. Thomason graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
When Marsha was 12 she joined Oldham Theatre Workshop and appeared in several stage plays like ‘Our Day Out’ by Willy Russell and ‘Peace’ by Aristophones. Two years later, she starred in ‘The 8:15 from Manchester’. She also worked along side awarded actress Helen Mirren playing the t.v role of Janice Lafferty in Prime Suspect 5: Errors of Judgment (1996), and performed in Brazen Hussies (1996).
In 1997, Marsha obtained the role of Nurse Jacqui Richards in “Where the Heart Is” and played Shazza Pearce in “Playing the Field”. She appeared in both shows at the same time for three years. She performed in “Love in the 21st Century” (1999) as well. Other important movies: “Pure” (2002) and “Burn it” (2003). She is a well known actress in England, but what about the States?
Thomason can be seen in some films such as “Black Knight” (2001), “My Baby’s Daddy” (2004) and “Into The Blue 2: The Reef” (2009). She received the awards as Best Actress in Film at the BFM awards in 2002. She also took part in Disney’s The Haunted Mansion (2003) with Eddie Murphy. Maybe her most known character is as Nessa Holt in Las Vegas, the first two seasons. Marsha appeared in “General Hospital” and landed the role of Diana Lancing in ‘White Collar’. The 34 year-old English actress appeared as Naomi Dorrit in ‘Lost’, during an interview she said she was Lost for the series and was really excited to be part of it.
Marsha Thomson is married to Craig Sykes. They celebrated their wedding on April 4, 2009 in an intimate ceremony in Malibu.
