Molly Ringwald, star of The Secret Life Of The American Teenager gave birth to twins on Friday. The boy is named Roman Stylianos, and the baby girl is named Adele Georgiana.

You have to give her credit for not giving her children wild celebrity-baby names like Sage Moonblood (Stallone’s kid) or the ever so creative Kyd (David Duchovny). Roman and Adele are unique, but not quite as out there as we’ve seen from celebrities lately.

Molly Ringwald is 41 years old, and her husband and father of the twins, Panio Gianopoulos, is 33. The couple already have a daughter named Mathilda Ereni, 5, who will welcome a little brother, Roman Stylianos, and a little sister, Adele Georgiana.

According to ABC Family, the plot of The Secret Life of the American Teenager will be adjusted to work in Ringwald’s pregnancy. It will be a bit ironic, because she plays a mother who is helping her teenage daughter deal with pregnancy as it is.

Molly Ringwald is apparently very excited that the fraternal twins ended up being both sexes, calling it “the best of both worlds.”
