Ok…First let’s take a look at who made the cut.

Most Fascinating People of 2009 List:

1. Michelle Obama
2. Jackson children
3. Sarah Palin
4. Brett Favre
5. Adam Lambert
6. Glenn Beck
7. Kate Gosselin
8. Tyler Perry
9. Jenny Sanford (S.C. governor’s wife)
10. Lady Gaga

But which celebrities were overlooked? Perhaps Jon Gosselin’s name should be etched next to his ex-wife Kate’s. I mean Jon & Kate sparked public fascination together, and like the theme song from ā€˜Married With Children’ states, ā€œyou can’t have one without the other,ā€ right?

Next up are the two Taylor’s. Yep, you guessed it, Lautner and Swift. This was a remarkable year for both of these teenage heartthrobs. On one hand we have countless albums sold worldwide, while on the other lies countless tickets sold at the box office. Definitely would have liked to see them on there!

And last but not least, Golf legend Tiger Woods. I’d be willing to bet that if his scandal would of surfaced just a couple of months sooner his name would be on the list this year. But since it didn’t, I expect that we will see him in the top 10 this time next year.

Tyler Perry was understandably emotional about his mother’s death during and after the interview, in which he revealed that being able to provide an extravagant lifestyle for her gave him joy.

Lady Gaga also gave us some insight into her personal life when she told Walters that:

“We didn’t talk for months after the first time he saw me play, and my mother told me he was afraid I was, like, mentally unstable.”

The above statement is in reference to her father’s reaction after watching her perform for his first time.

Who else should of made the ā€˜Most Fascinating People of 2009’ list? Tell us your answer in the comment section.
