Neverland Ranch is the infamous property that Michael Jackson once called home. Read more about the property here.

Neverland Ranch

Ever since the molestation accusations, sources claim that Michael Jackson hasn’t actually lived at the massive property. In fact, Jackson nearly lost ownership of the land because of financial troubles. Last year, he actually defaulted on the $24.5 million loan, which covers an area of 2,800 acres.

It now appears that the property is owned mostly by Sycamore Valley Ranch Company LLC, whom Michael Jackson transferred the title to during the financial troubles that nearly led to its foreclosure.

Neverland Ranch is located in Los Olivos, California. The property was previously owned by an entrepreneur named William Bone, who sold the land to Michael Jackson for a reported amount of $17 million in the 1980s. Now the land is estimated to be worth close to $120 million.

Neverland Ranch once famously had an amusement park and a zoo. The name is an obvious reference to the fictional setting of Peter Pan, where children live who never want to grow up.

Soon after the transference of the title to Sycamore Valley Ranch Company, neighbors reported that it appeared as though the amusement rides were being moved out.

During the time in which the ownership was uncertain, other wealthy celebrities, such as Angelina Jolie, were reportedly interested in purchasing it.

It seems that no matter who owns the property, it will always be associated with Michael Jackson, may he rest in peace.

It would be nice to make Neverland into a museum like Graceland. It’s too bad Neverland is in such disrepair. The years of neglect have taken its toll on the property. I’m afraid it would take too much money to get it back to its previous glory. Unfortunatly Michael had lost everything. Rest in peace Michael.

Michael Jackson was a legend he played such a big part in all of our lives as the King of Pop and that is what we should remember him for all his hard work and contributions to the music world.

I think Neverland should be reparied and open to the public, Micheal Jackson would want us to feel at home as he did at the Neverland Ranch. As far as reparing the land there are several avenues we the people could take like volunteers to help with repairs, fundraisers to help pay for the repairs, and all the of the pop stars and actors and actress that refer to Micheal Jackson as a friend and mentor can help by donating thier time and money as well.

Now is the time for all of us to come together and show what we can do. We have the chance work together and thank a legend and to show his family that we will never forget Micheal Jackson.

RIP Micheal (we all love and miss you)
