Round 2 of #TigerBloodIntern for Charlie Sheen Begins! – UPDATED

As fate would have it, I am a jack of many trades. The thing I’m best at? Social Media. Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter, SVNGR, you name it, I know it.

So imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail stating I had been chosen to move on to round 2 of Charlie Sheen’s Tiger Blood Internship!

After hearing that over 74,000 people applied to be Charlie Sheen’s intern, I figured what the heck. I dig Charlie Sheen and think he is on the brink of something BIG. You may not like him, his morals or anything he is associated with, but you have to give the man credit for doing things HIS way. So, I applied.

Of course, I like others, didn’t really expect much to come of it. However, today around 3:30pm EST, I received an e-mail informing me that I had indeed been picked to move on to round 2 of the application process.

After filling out my education info, my work history and giving a few links to the websites I am associated with, the process was over. Quick, informative and straight to the point, this application (like round 1) is unlike any other application I have ever applied for.

Immediately after finishing round 2, I got online and began searching the different social media sites to see if I could garner a good gauge of how many others have been accepted.

Twitter and Facebook are both alive with commentators stating they’ve been accepted to round 2.

Applicant @MitchSchneider tweeted: I am in SHOCK! I have just been invited to round 2 to be the #tigerbloodintern for @charliesheen #WINNING ! ! ! ! !

In fact, most of the twitter people who were accepted put #Winning in their tweets, maybe they should be just a TAD bit more original, but hey, at least they are pushing the Charlie Sheen machine forward!

At the end of the day, I don’t know how many people are moving on. I’m guessing somewhere in the vicinity of 5,000. However, this Tech Crunch Article seems to imply that the total 82,000 that applied will be boiled down to 50 of the very best. After scouring twitter and Facebook, I think that may be for round 3. Definitely not round 2. The team conducting the process has a lot of practice in this type of thing and I’m excited to see where it goes.

So, whether I get accepted to round 3 or not, I just gotta give props to all of you who were selected for round 2. It won’t be easy for whoever wins, but it will DEFINITELY be fun!
