Apparently the 4-year-old daughter of Brad and Angelina is at the age where she wants to express her individuality. Desiring to change fashions, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt cried over hair that was too long for her taste! There is a lot more to this story and you can read it all, with photos and video below!

A picture recently published showed the girl with a short blonde do and boys’ swimming trunks. This was a result of the power couple’s daughter wanting to make her own, individual statement with her appearance. Lucky for her, her parents are in full support!

We are used to seeing the youngster with lovely locks in gorgeous dresses and trendy, girly outfits; but now she wants to do things her own way. According to the ‘Salt’ actress one night Shiloh Jolie-Pitt cried over hair that she apparently wants cut. Her daughter begged:

“Please cut my hair off. I don’t want to have long hair.”

This made the 35-year-old think about her parenting skills and what she wants for her children.

“I have a very strong-willed four-year-old girl who tells me what she wants to wear and I let her be who she is. I think people think kids should be a certain way, but I feel they should wear what they feel like wearing and they should express themselves.”

Some people are criticizing and judging the choices both the 4-year-old and her parents are making. Questions are swirling about her wanting to be more like a boy than a girl, and what does that mean. Well as for the household, they don’t care about any of that. Their main concern is doing what is best for the kids.

“I think she is fascinating the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is bad parenting.”

In my opinion, I think it is totally up to them to decide how to raise their daughter, and there is obviously no lack of love there. What do you think, though, about the fact that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt cried over hair and her decision to be more tom-boyish? Are her parents doing the right thing? Let me know your thoughts after you check out these other photos and video.

It’s not your kid. Get over it they have to live with her, not us. You can tell her big brothers influence her greatly. What do we want to see another Suri Cruz-I got sick of that kid with the long unbrushed hair. They are kids people need to stop expressing their hate for Angeling Jolie on to innocent kids.

I had to giggle. My Mum cut her grandson’s hair. I was visiting for Christmas and I remember the day so well. My brother had built small steps to the mirror in the bathroom so his son David could brush his hair and teeth and look at himself.

On that particular day I happened to be curious how he would greet the new “do” and followed him in. As he walked up those little steps his face started to.. Well, lets just say at that age they can have strong opinions. He scream-cried “not again” and was terribly upset. I would have been upset too, it looked like Mum put a bowl on his head and trimed a nice circle. It was actually funny that that little boy just picked up on that. My brother when he came home gave him a manly shave – short and spikey. David loved it and he would keep checking it out in the mirror.

We didn’t have much growing up, so my brother gave whatever clothes and toys his children wanted and they turned out just fine. David is in the Navy now doing fantastic and married with a new baby.

I think Angelina and Brad are doing just great!

It’s the misserable people that want to throw their own ideals on you and if you don’t like them, they find other ways of insulting.

Society needs to embrace individuality. This is what makes every country so unique and every race uniquer. Our customs and cultures should not be shoved on anyone and neither should theirs on ours.

For heaven’s sake leave the little four year old alone. I was a tomboy and grow-up to get married (to a man) and have been married for over 40 years. I had a lot of dolls but they were all in good condition because I would much rather be out playing cowboys and indians and riding pretend horses. Stop trying to make something abnormal out of what a phase she (at 4years old) she is going through. I agree with the first comment. Her parents know best.
