Celebrities posing partially naked in Timothy White’s “Hollywood Pinups” is making huge news, as the stars White photographed are A list celebs, and somehow he got them to pose for the coffee table book. According the New York Daily News, here is how some of it went down:
Actress Angie Harmon arrived for her shoot, says White, and respectfully told him that, while she liked the concept, she preferred to let it all hang out. “And I was like, ‘Great!’” says White. “So at the last minute, we put together a diamond G-string, which is all she’s wearing – the diamond G-string and Louboutin shoes.”
My favorite photos in the book belong to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Those girls can transform into the most beautiful creatures, which comes as a surprise given their daily attire. Ashley sports sexy Joanna Mastroianni lingerie with Leviev diamond and ruby jewelry. While Mary-Kate was transformed into a classic pinup beauty complete with dark hair, creamy skin, pouty red lips, and endless lashes. Check out the celebrity pinup photos here.
“It was an opportunity to be something different,” says White, “to change yourself a bit. This is an opportunity to live out a fantasy, to become one of these illustrations.”
