What better way to kick-off the most wonderful time of the year than with the event that has become a festive tradition for many Americans. Hosts Natalie Morales and Al Roker will guide us through an impressive array of performances all leading up to the magical moment.

Not only will we witness the illumination of the epic tree, but we’re in for a special treat by way of some incredible music. In store for us are performances by Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, Annie Lennox to name a few.

I spent the week of Thanksgiving in NYC last year, and believe me we made sure to head over to Rockefeller Center. The tree was under construction at that point, and was surrounded by scaffolding, but I could not get over the sheer size of it. Event organizers say this year’s tree will dawn 30,000 LED lights, stretching across five miles of wire. Unreal.

The event kicks off on NBC at 8PM EST. But if you can’t make it in front of a television, you’re all covered here! You can watch Christmas In Rockefeller Center online here, with Tree Lighting live-feed, live-stream video in the box below.

The holidays are a time when you have to sit back and allow the cheese to flow. Any other time of the year, the pasty white smiles of the ice skaters, or the overzealous delivery of Al Roker would likely make me nauseous, but not in late November.

Most big cities have at least one huge Christmas tree, but New York has been showing us how it’s done for 78 year’s straight. This year should be no exception.

So put your feet up, grab a few gingerbread cookies and watch Christmas In Rockefeller Center online here, with Tree Lighting live-feed, live-stream video.
