Zach Randolph Is LA Clipper Arrest

Los Angeles Clippers power forward, Zach Randolph, was reportedly busted for a DUI this morning. He was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol, when they spotted his white Rolls Royce was weaving around 2:25 AM. Authorities say that they “noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from within the vehicle.” Randolph failed the field tests, and was placed under arrest for DUI. A spokesman for the Clippers told,

“We’ll reserve comment until we’ve had an opportunity to review the facts.”

Zach Randolph Biography

Zachary Randolph was born July 16, 1981 in Marion, Indiana. He was raised in Marion, and attended Marion High School where his basketball coach was Moe Smedley. As a sophomore, and senior he helped lead the Marion Giants to the 4A championship game. His senior year they won the state title.

Randolph went on to attend Michigan State University as a Spartan, he was coached by Tom Izzo, and his team mates included Jason Richardson, and Charlie Bell. He entered the 2001 NBA Draft following his freshman year.

Randolph was drafted 19th overall in 2001 by the Portland, Trailblazers. In 2004 he won the NBA’s Most Improved Player award. He had a brief stint with the N.Y. Knicks, and then was traded to his current team, the Los Angeles Clippers in 2008.
